The invention discloses a bidirectional-expansion core mold which comprises a cuboid framework, a front elastic core plate, a rear elastic core plate, a left telescopic core block and a right telescopic core block. The front elastic core plate and the rear elastic core plate are longitudinally arranged on the cuboid framework and connected with a front cavity wall and a rear cavity wall of the cuboid framework respectively through elastic connection pieces. The left telescopic core block and the right telescopic core block are connected with telescopic mechanisms respectively. Edgefolds which are bent towards the inner surfaces of the plates are arranged on the left and right sides of the front elastic core plate and the rear elastic core plate respectively. Each telescopic core block comprises a core block body, a connection column arranged on the inner side face of the core block body, a cantilever type front fixed core plate and a cantilever type rear fixed core plate, wherein the cantilever type front fixed core plate and the cantilever type rear fixed core plate are fixed to the front end and the rear end of the core block body and extend in the direction of the end where the connection column is located. Multiple grooves are formed in the outer side faces of the core block bodies, the outer side faces of the front fixed core plates and the outer side faces of the rear fixed core plates. The inner surfaces of the cantilever sections of the front and rear fixed core plates are pasted to the front outer surface and the rear outer surface of the cuboid framework. The edges of the cantilever sections are edgefolds which are cocked towards the outside of the plates. The bidirectional-expansion core mold can achieve bidirectional expansion in the X direction and the Y direction, and therefore universal wall plate shells and hollow components can be smoothly formed and released from molds.
