The invention pertains to the field of building machinery, in particular to a drum-type concrete vibrator with the purpose of solving the problem that a vibration plate of a currently-used concrete vibrator may cause stacking of a concrete surface and gives rise to an unsmooth and non-uniform concrete surface. The key points of the drum-type concrete vibrator are described in that the drum-type concrete vibrator is composed of a drum, a vibrator, a vibrator installation support, an operation handgrip, a support rack and a drum connection joint; the vibrator is mounted to the vibrator installation support, on which the operation handgrip is arranged; the operation handgrip is welded with the support rack; the drum connection joint is arranged at the lower portion of the vibration support rack; and the drum is mounted to the support rack by means of the drum connection joint.
