The invention discloses a cross seam sealing steel cover plate comb tooth telescopic device for a bridge and an implementation method of the cross seam sealing steel cover plate comb tooth telescopic device. The device comprises a cross seam comb tooth cover plate, force bearing beams, positioning anchor plates, anchor spring steel plates and steel elastomers. The positioning anchor plates are distributed on the two sides of a telescopic seam and each welded to anchor reinforcing steel bars. The force bearing beams are arranged on the two sides of the telescopic seam on a bridge abutment and welded and fixed to one ends of the positioning anchor plates. The top end of the first force bearing beam is elastically fixed to the bottom face of the cross seam comb tooth cover plate. The top of the second force bearing beam movably makes contact with the bottom of the cross seam comb tooth cover plate. The steel elastomers are arranged at the two ends, in the length direction, of the bridge and fixedly connected with the first force bearing beam and the second force bearing beam respectively. The device has the advantages that the device can be safely used under various deformation effects, force transmission between beam bodies at the bridge seam is small, the steel elastomers support a waterproof structure, and the device is easy and rapid to install, convenient to maintain, economical and practical.
