The power transmission tower angle steel connection joint comprises two principal materials, diagonal materials, diaphragm materials and auxiliary materials, wherein the principal materials are arranged in the vertical direction and serve as tower pillars, the diagonal materials are connected between the two adjacent principal materials, the included angle of the diagonal materials and the horizontal direction is smaller than 90 degrees, the diaphragm materials are horizontally arranged between the principal materials, and the auxiliary materials are connected with the principal materials, the diaphragm materials and/or the diagonal materials. The power transmission tower angle steel connection joint is characterized in that the principal materials which serve as the tower pillars comprise two or more principal material sections which are connected with one another in a head-to-tail mode; the tower pillars are composed of the principal material sections, the principal material sections comprise cross-shaped connecting plates which are perpendicular to each other and angle steel arranged on the crosswise intersected included angle portions. According to the power transmission tower angle steel connection joint, under the situation that the thicknesses of filler plates are different, connecting can be conducted among the principal material components according to the filler plate thicknesses obtained through actual calculation, the tower weight is reduced, it is guaranteed that the connection of the components is safe and reliable, and the economical efficiency of the tower is achieved.
