The push rod type lock comprises a lock case and a sliding groove, wherein the sliding groove is connected with the lock case; a lock cylinder is arranged in the lock case; a groove is formed in the middles of the tops of the lock case and the lock cylinder; a lower cover is also arranged in the lock case; a telescopic rod and a poking fork are arranged on the lock cylinder in a bilateral symmetry manner; a tension spring B is arranged on the lock case; a guide groove is formed in the lock cylinder; a spring is mounted at the bottom of the lock cylinder through a spring seat; the top of the spring is in contact with the lower cover; a motor is fixedly arranged in the middle of the lock cylinder; a poking sheet is connected to the top end of the motor; an emergency sliding block is arranged on the side of the poking sheet; a hook is arranged below the groove. Through the technical scheme, a trigger of a gun can be locked, so that the gun is protected; meanwhile, the overall size of the lock can be greatly reduced, and the cost is reduced.
