The invention relates to a ceramic powder building material, which is characterized by comprising the following raw materials by weight part: 35-120 parts of ceramic powder, 40-85 parts of polystyrene, 25-45 parts of corn carbohydrate gum, and 15-30 parts of thickening agent. The ceramic powder building material has the advantages that 1)the cost of raw materials in a whole technical scheme is low, the production technology is simple; and 2)the performance of the ceramic powder building material is excellent, and the ceramic powder building material can satisfy the requirement of each industry.
