The invention discloses a detachable draining hole filtering plug and an installation method thereof. The detachable draining hole filtering plug is installed in a draining pipe and comprises a gravel anti-filtering material cage and a grouting rammer. The gravel anti-filtering material cage is installed at the bottom of the draining pipe, and one end of the gravel anti-filtering material cage extends out of the draining pipe and is inserted into a porous concrete area of the outer side of a gallery. According to the detachable draining hole filtering plug and the installation method thereof, construction is simple, operation is easy, unnecessary artificial destruction cannot be caused on the concrete structure of the draining gallery, and cleaning or replacing can be conveniently conducted.
