The invention discloses photovoltaic drive network pressure-superposing (non-negative pressure) variable-frequency water supply equipment and a water supply method, comprising a distributed solar generating system, a photovoltaic water supply scheduling control system, a water pump unit, a non-negative pressure water supply system and a water supply system. The water supply method includes the steps: 1, a solar photovoltaic module converts solar energy into electric energy, a header box collects the electric energy converted by the solar photovoltaic module and delivers the collected electric energy to a distribution box for the purpose of storage, and the distribution box distributes the stored electric energy to the controller; 2, the controller distributes the stored electric energy delivered by the distribution box; 3, when operating, the water pump unit relays to boost water pressure of a municipal tap water supply pipe through fitting of a non-negative pressure flow-stabilizing tank and a negative pressure inhibitor, so that the water is delivered from a building bottom to a high-level water adjusting and storage tank; 4, the high-level water adjusting and storage tank stores part of tap water delivered by the water pump unit, for the purpose of emergency use and directly delivers the other part of the tap water to users for use. The photovoltaic drive network pressure-superposing (non-negative pressure) variable-frequency water supply equipment is energy saving and environment friendly, with application cost greatly lowered.
