Outdoor fire hydrant
The invention discloses an outdoor fire hydrant. The outdoor fire hydrant comprises a connecting pipe, a valve rod base and a valve body. The lower end of the valve body is connected with a valve connection base, and the upper end of the valve body is connected with the connecting pipe. A fixing hole is formed in a partition plate of the valve body. A lower spring seat is arranged in the fixing hole and internally provided with a long valve rod. An upper valve plate and a lower valve plate are arranged at the lower end of the long valve rod. An axial gap is reserved between the upper end face of the lower valve plate and the lower end face of the upper valve plate. The sectional area of the upper valve plate is larger than that of the lower valve plate. The upper end face of the upper valve plate is matched with the lower end face of a water outlet hole. The upper portion of the water outlet hole is communicated with an automatic water drainage opening. The upper end face of the upper valve plate is matched with the lower end face of the water outlet hole. An axial hole is formed in the upper valve plate. The upper end of the long valve rod is connected with an ejector rod. The long valve rod is provided with the valve rod base. A spring is arranged between the valve rod base and the lower spring seat. The ejector rod is connected with the long valve rod. According to the outdoor fire hydrant, downward-pressing starting is adopted; as the area of the upper valve plate is large, the water-flowing sectional area is guaranteed; as the lower valve plate is small, it is guaranteed that starting is easy, and pressure balancing during water supplying is guaranteed.
