The invention discloses biological stuffing for purifying domestic sewage and a preparing method thereof. The biological stuffing comprises, by mass, 35 parts to 48 parts of fine talcum powder, 25 parts to 40 parts of alumina powder, 18 parts to 32 parts of electroquartz, 4 parts to 5 parts of elbaite micro powder and 0.5 part to 1 part of modified titanium dioxide. According to the biological stuffing and the preparing method, cordierite ceramic with the small volume density is synthesized through large-volume-density minerals such as the fine talcum powder, the alumina powder and the electroquartz in a high-temperature volume expansion mode, the high-temperature-volume-shrinkage raw materials such as the elbaite micro powder and the modified titanium dioxide are used in cooperation, polypropylene balls serve as pore forming agents, and the prepared biological stuffing is small in volume density, low in heat expansion coefficient, high in porosity, large in superficial area, high in flora survival rate and good in film forming effect; meanwhile, the stuffing generated after high temperature firing is large in strength and is not broken in the back flush process, residues, which can not be removed through washing, in the stuffing can be removed in a high-temperature calcination mode, and repeated utilization is achieved.
