Launder and preparation method thereof
The invention belongs to the technical field of metal smelting and particularly relates to a launder and a preparation method thereof. The launder is composed of substrate slurry and aggregate, wherein the substrate slurry comprises the following ingredients in percent by weight: 30-50% of corundum, 5-25% of aluminum hydroxide, 3-15% of silicon oxide, 1-10% of aluminum fluoride, 5-20% of kaolin and 10-30% of water; and the aggregate is andalusite, and the weight of the andalusite is 40-90% of that of the substrate slurry. The launder prepared by the preparation method provided by the invention has an occlusion structure constructed between mullite whiskers generated in situ and whiskers formed by the andalusite, so that the thermal shock resistance is good; when the launder is used, the launder does not need to be preheated and cooled by cooling water; and the launder has the advantages of long service life and convenience in replacement.
