The invention is applicable to a novel water closet cleaning device, which comprises a transparent solid block, wherein the block is connected to a supporting part; and the lower part of the supporting part is used for supporting the block so that the block can be viewed from outside by at least part while the upper convex part is clamped on the edge of a water closet, therefore the supporting part is hung. The water closet cleaning device comprises a completely transparent solid block (5) and a supporting part (2) which is represented in a cage-shaped form; a hollow lower part (4) is formed inside the cage to support the block (5), and an upper convex part (1) is elastically clamped on the edge of the water closet, so that the cage is hung in a mode similar to a conventional device comprising a solid colored block. Especially, when a water-soluble dye is adopted, the dye is gradually consumed in water released from a water flushing systems repeatedly. The cleaning device disclosed by the invention, compared with original inventions, is more convenient and simpler in operation and use and is easier for a consumer to master time of replacing, so as to facilitate life.
