The invention provides a method for repairing a roof. The method includes the steps that A, the roof is cleaned; B, flexible waterproof paint is smeared to the surface of the cleaned roof, and a waterproof layer is formed; C, heat insulating paint is smeared to the surface of the waterproof layer, and a heat insulating paint layer is formed. Compared with the prior art, firstly, the waterproof layer is formed through the flexible waterproof paint, and therefore the situation that the roof cracks due to temperature stress or other reasons can be effectively avoided; secondly, the heat insulating layer is formed on the surface of the waterproof layer, and therefore the service life of the waterproof layer can be effectively protected; thirdly, the roof is repaired only by smearing the flexible waterproof paint and the heat insulating paint, therefore, the quantity of consumed materials is small, roof loads are not affected, and meanwhile construction is easy and convenient; manpower, human resources and time are saved, cost is reduced, and efficiency is improved.
