The invention discloses a manual mode and automatic mode switching type door opening and closing system. The system comprises a mechanical transmission mechanism and a door opening and closing control mechanism. The mechanical transmission mechanism comprises a control motor, an active transmission device, a passive transmission device, connecting assemblies and a conveyor belt. The active transmission device and the passive transmission device are installed at the top of a door frame. The conveyor belt is connected between the active transmission device and the passive transmission device. The connecting assemblies are fixedly connected with the conveyor belt and a sliding door. The control input end of the control motor is connected with the door opening and closing control mechanism, and an output shaft of the control motor is connected with the active transmission device so as to control the active transmission device to act and drive the conveyor belt and the passive transmission device to act so that the sliding door can be driven to be opened or closed. The door opening and closing control mechanism is provided with a sensor set so that an automatic mode and a manual mode can be switched when a switching signal is detected. The system is safe, reliable and easy to assemble and maintain.
