The present invention discloses a cutter for a metal laser cutting machine. The cutter comprises 47-54% of a calcium lanthanum chromite ceramic, 41-44% of a potassium-sodium alloy and 3-11% of a silicon rubber, wherein the calcium lanthanum chromite ceramic comprises chromium oxide, lanthanum oxide and calcium oxide. According to the present invention, the cutter has advantages of high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, and strong air permeability.
