The present invention discloses a 200 DEG C high temperature-resistant oil well cement retarder and a preparation method thereof. 62.42g of an ene sulfonic acid monomer and 14.86g of maleic anhydride (MA) are weighed, 72.72g of an ene monomer having a hydrophilic group long chain is dissolved in 350g of tap water for formulation of a solution. After the solution pH is adjusted to 6, the solution is transferred into a three-necked flask, the solution is heated with a water bath to 60 DEG C, and nitrogen is introduced in for 30min; then 1g of (NH4) 2S2O8 is added, a stirrer is turned, after 5h, the stirrer is turned off, and after 24h of constant temperature, a polymer is taken out. Under laboratory conditions, the polymer is put into a high temperature and high pressure thickening instrument for thickening for 240min-360min at 200 DEG C, and the thickening curve is good. The 200 DEG C high temperature-resistant oil well cement retarder is well compatible with other oil well cement additives, and the cement slurry system overall performance is excellent.
