The invention provides a page turning type traffic sign which can be used for reserving backup signs of the existing traffic signs as well as traffic signs needing to be replaced recently and can be used for automatically replacing the signs without using large tools, such as cranes, when required. An upright post of the page turning type traffic sign is fixed on a foundation beside a road, and the page turning type traffic sign is characterized in that a frame assembly is arranged at the upper part of the upright post; the traffic signs are arranged in the frame assembly; each traffic sign is embedded in each slot of the frame assembly through a rotating device, and a positioning pin is arranged at the upper end of each traffic sign; a lifting device is arranged in the frame assembly, and a lifting rod in the lifting device is connected with each traffic sign; and the traffic signs which are arranged in the frame are movably connected and can be replaced.
