The invention discloses a foldable plate-inserting type water stop door which comprises a door frame and water stop cloth. The water stop cloth is borne and inserted in the door frame. The foldable plate-inserting type water stop door is characterized in that the door frame comprises a base, side frames and compression plates; the side frames are vertically arranged at the two ends of the base, and provided with a plurality of bolt holes; the water stop cloth can be folded in the horizontal direction, and through holes matched with the bolt holes of the side frames in position are formed in the two side edges of the water stop cloth; and a folding unit at the topmost position of the water stop cloth is provided with a cover plate, and the cover plate and the folding unit at the topmost position are connected and can be folded oppositely. When the foldable plate-inserting type water stop door is not used, the water stop cloth can be folded and placed in a pit, and the storage area is reduced to the maximum extent. When the foldable plate-inserting type water stop door is needed, only the water stop cloth needs to be unfolded, the compressing plates are mounted through bolts, and operation is convenient. By means of the three-layer waterproof structure of the water stop cloth, the water prevention effect of the water stop door is better.
