K-shaped shearing damper
The invention relates to a novel K-shaped shearing damper which can be applied to energy dissipation and damping control of an architectural structure and mainly acts on protruding structures such as a bent structure at the upper part of a hydraulic architecture and towers at the upper part of high-rise buildings. The damper comprises a damping medium lead pig, a steel shell is arranged outside the damping medium lead pig, the steel shell is divided into an upper part and a lower part, a groove is formed in each of the upper steel shell and the lower steel shell, and a slotted eye is formed in the butt joint surface of the upper steel shell and the lower steel shell, i.e., the shearing surface of the damping medium lead pig is oval. Based on current research on energy dissipaters, the shearing damper can be used for not only solving the problem of fixing of the lead pig, but also enriching the engineering application means of lead dampers. The K-shaped shearing damper mainly acts in shearing, and acts in extruding in an assisted way, so that the acting manners of the damper are increased; the damper is arranged at a beam and a support point in K shape, and the installation manner enriches the use range of the lead dampers in engineering.
