Provided is an underground granary provided with stainless steel wall protection plates and a pre-embedded steel plate joint interface. The surface in the granary is provided with a wall protection interface comprising the steel plate joint interface and the stainless steel wall protection plates. When the joint interface is continuous, the wall protection plates are continuously welded with the welding interface to be connected with the sealing interface in a sealing mode. A gap is kept between the two adjacent stainless steel wall protection plates. When the joint interface is discontinuous, the wall protection plates are welded with the joint interface for fixation. Splicing connection between the two adjacent stainless steel wall protection plates comprises welding connection, bonding connection and undercut connection. Enclosed space is formed by the stainless steel wall protection plates and the surface in a structure and communicated with a negative-pressure source. Negative-pressure vacuum has functions of drying, insect-killing and alleviating cereal metabolism. In the Yangtze River Delta region, the storage temperature of an underground cooling granary in the first summer is below 8 degree centigrade with insignificant energy loss. Storage time of rice is expected to be prolonged to eight years from current two years.
