The invention discloses a hardware wind bracing member for a plastic steel window. The hardware wind bracing member comprises a sliding bar and a sliding bar base. One end of the sliding bar is connected with the sliding bar base in a sliding mode, and the sliding bar is located on the sliding bar base. The other end of the sliding bar is in the shape of an S upwards, and the S-shaped end obliquely extends upwards. Besides, the head length of the S shape of the sliding bar is 1-1.5 times the height of the S shape. By means of the S-shaped structure of the non-sliding end of the wind bracing, the non-sliding end of the wind bracing can be conveniently connected with the corner in a hinged mode; the problem of the small opening angle of a window sash can be solved; the opening stability of the window sash is effectively ensured.
