The invention provides a slag grinding aid for vertical grinding. The slag grinding aid for the vertical grinding has the advantages that on the premise that the working condition of a vertical grinding machine and the slag raw materials are the same, grindability of the slag particles can be improved by adding the slag grinding aid, so that the grinding efficiency of slags is improved by 10%-15%, and meanwhile the activity index of mineral powder is increased by 15%-16% for 7 d and 10%-16% for 28 d.
