Modified aluminum oxide-silicon carbide-carbon brick for torpedo ladle and preparation method therefor
The invention relates to lining bricks for hot-metal ladles and preparation methods therefor and particularly relates to a modified aluminum oxide-silicon carbide-carbon brick for a torpedo ladle and a preparation method therefor. The modified aluminum oxide-silicon carbide-carbon brick is used for solving the problem that the ordinary ASC bricks cannot meet the requirements on desulfurization, dephosphorization and desiliconisation treatment during hot-metal transportation. The modified aluminum oxide-silicon carbide-carbon brick is prepared from the raw material ingredients in percentage by weight: 15-20% of extra-grade alumina, 20-35% of sub-white corundum, 10-18% of silicon carbide, 8-12% of 200-mesh andalusite, 10-15% of andalusite with the particle size smaller than 1mm, 4-8% of crystalline flake graphite, 3-6% of carbon black, 8-12% of sub-white corundum, 2-3% of metal aluminum powder and 4-5% of additional liquid phenol-formaldehyde resin. The preparation method comprises the steps: crushing and de-ironing alumina; premixing the rest solid materials; premixing alumina, sub-white corundum and andalusite particulate materials, and then, mixing the premix with mud; milling the powdery material, the particulate material and the additional liquid phenol-formaldehyde resin; aging pug for 24 hours at a constant temperature; feeding the pug to bins for molding, and loading unburned bricks to a drying kiln; and carrying out drying treatment. The modified aluminum oxide-silicon carbide-carbon brick for the torpedo ladle and the preparation method therefor have the advantages that the high-temperature stability is good, and brick joints and thermal shock spalling are reduced; the oxidation resistance is high; the high-temperature folding strength and normal-temperature compressive strength are improved; and the liquid phenol-formaldehyde resin is adopted.
