Grass planting holes penetrating an upper brick body surface and a lower brick body surface are formed in the brick body. The novel grass planting brick further comprises a rear brick body surface and a right brick body side face which are parallel to a front brick body surface and a left brick body side face respectively. Protrusions are arranged on the front brick body surface and the left brick body side face respectively. Grooves matched with the protrusions are formed in the rear brick body surface and the right brick body side face respectively. Separation nets (12) parallel to the upper brick body surface (2) are arranged on the grass planting holes (11).
