The invention discloses a dual-purpose hammer used for fixing tent ground piles and correcting tent rod pieces and connecting joints. The dual-purpose hammer comprises a hammer handle, a hammer head and a correcting head, wherein the hammer hand is connected on the hammer handle; the correcting head is connected on the hammer head; the correcting head comprises a circular disc part, a threaded part and a circular-truncated-cone-shaped correcting part with a large end surface and a small end surface; the large end surface of the correcting part is fixedly connected with the upper end surface of the circular disc part; the threaded part is fixedly connected with the lower end surface of the circular disc part; and a threaded hole which is adaptive to the threaded part is formed in the hammer head. The dual-purpose hammer is simple in structure, convenient in assembly and convenient in carrying, can be used as a common hammer and also can be used for deformation of tent rack rod pieces and deformation of the connecting joints.
