The invention relates to a retaining wall and bricks thereof. The main body of a brick is a block, the top surface of the block is an ornamental facade with an arc-shaped structure and concave-convex stripes, planting holes are formed in the block, a back edge positioning boss is convexly arranged on a wide side wall surface on one side of the bottom surface of the block, and concave-convex complementary and interlocked structures are arranged on narrow side wall surfaces of two opposite sides of the bottom surface of the block. The bricks are sequentially and transversely laminated upwards side by side to form the retaining wall, one brick is arranged above two side-by-side bricks, a corner formed between the wide side wall surface and the bottom surface of the brick is in contact with the back edge positioning boss of the two side-by-side bricks to form a staggered interlocked structure, and the two side-by-side bricks are self-embedded, interlocked and fixed through the concave-convex complementary and interlocked structures on the block; and geogrids are paved between two adjacent layers of self-embedded and interlocked bricks, and the top of the uppermost layer of self-embedded and interlocked bricks is pressed by C20 concrete. The retaining wall has double advantages of fast construction of a gravity retaining wall and flexible structure of a reinforced soil retaining wall.
