The invention discloses a construction method for penetrating an existing underground passage in open cutting of a subway foundation pit. The construction method comprises the following steps of (1) removing impurities, extracting accumulated water, and preparing construction equipment; (2) dismantling ancillary facilities and equipment of the passage; (3) breaking down fender posts of the passage and performing cover plate construction on the entrance and the exit of the passage; (4) constructing a high guide wall; (5) breaking down the part, within the range of an underground diaphragm wall, of the passage; (6) constructing the underground diaphragm wall; (7) constructing erect column piles and uplift piles; (8) breaking down the part, within the foundation pit excavating range, of the passage; and (9) removing residual bottom plates of the passage in a chiseling mode. According to the construction method, construction does not need to be carried out after completely breaking down the existing passage and performing backfilling and reinforcing, instead, after the passage is reinforced, the passage is gradually broken down from local to whole according to needs, and breaking down and newly building of the underground diaphragm wall, the erect column piles and chemical churning piles are carried out alternately, so that the construction period is effectively shortened; compared with a traditional construction method, operation at the passage is completed about 30 days ahead of time.
