The invention discloses a rotary shovel which comprises a shovel body (1) and a handle (2). The shovel body (1) is connected with the handle (2), and the handle (2) is sleeved with a rotating seat (3); each of the two sides of the rotating seat (3) is provided with a long groove (4), two limiting convex blocks (5) are arranged on the handle (2) and correspondingly penetrate out of the two long grooves (4) in the rotating seat (3), and the limiting convex blocks (5) can move along the long grooves (4). According to the rotary shovel, when sand and the like need to be stirred, the rotating seat is held by one hand, the handle is held by the other hand, and then the handle is rotated to drive the shovel body to rotate; the sand and the like can be stirred by placing the shovel body in the sand and rotating the shovel body, and not only can sand be evenly stirred, but also labor is saved.
