Tuned viscous mass damper
The invention relates to a tuned viscous mass damping device for energy dissipation and seismic reduction of house building structures and bridge engineering structures. The tuned viscous mass damping device comprises a ball screw, rotary masses, a ball nut, a tuning spring, an outer barrel, an inner barrel, viscous liquid, a tuning spring protective barrel, a ball bearing and lug rings. The rotary masses, the ball nut and the inner barrel are integrally connected with one another by means of welding; the ball screw sequentially penetrates the ball nut and the right end of the inner barrel, and the ball screw and the ball nut are constrained by each other in a threaded manner; spaces between the inner barrel and the outer barrel are filled with the viscous liquid. The tuned viscous mass damping device has the advantages that effects of tuned mass dampers and effects of nonlinear viscous dampers can be realized simultaneously, viscous damping synergy and mass synergy can be realized by the ball screw, and the tuned viscous mass damping device is excellent in energy dissipation performance.
