The invention discloses a safety telephone booth, which comprises a telephone booth body, a safety door, safety lock suites, a telephone booth state indicating lamp and a safety mechanism controller, wherein the telephone booth body is of a metal framework structure and is provided with explosion-proof tempered glass walls; the safety door is an explosion-proof tempered glass door and is arranged at one side surface of the telephone booth body; the safety lock suites are arranged at the telephone booth body and the inner side of the safety door and are connected with the safety mechanism controller; the telephone booth state indicating lamp is horizontally arranged at the middle section of the outer side surface of the safety door and is connected with the safety mechanism controller; and the safety mechanism controller is connected with a public telephone arranged in the telephone booth body. By adopting the mode, the safety telephone booth provided by the invention has the advantages that the automatic locking function and the automatic unlocking function can be realized; the safety of the telephone booth is improved; the opening and closing automation of the safety door is realized; and the user safety is guaranteed.
