The invention relates to a glass sand building material, which is characterized by being composed of the following raw materials by weight: 35-120 parts of glass sand, 40-85 parts of gypsum, 25-45 parts of resin powder, and 15-30 parts of a thickening agent. The invention has the advantages that: 1) according to the technical scheme, the cost of the raw materials is low, and the production process is simple; and 2) the glass sand building material has excellent performance, and can meet the needs of various industries.
