The invention discloses a preparation method for a foam concrete insulating material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing Portland cement, coal dust, calcium oxide and bone glue powder, adding the obtained mixture into water and carrying out stirring; then adding chitosan, sodium aluminate, anhydrous sodium sulfate, lithium carbonate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polypropylene fiber, meerschaum, diethylenetriamine and chlorinated polyethylene under stirring; adding an anionic surfactant type foaming agent and phosphatidylcholine and carrying out foaming through stirring in virtue of a foaming machine; and injecting the foamed mixing into a test mold and carrying out standing and foaming. The foam concrete insulating material prepared in the invention is intact and dense and has good elasticity, anti-compression performance, sound insulation effect and impermeability.
