Friction damper
The invention belongs to the technical field of building facility vibration resistance, and particularly relates to a friction damper used for cable-stayed inhaul cable to resist vibration. The friction damper comprises kinetic friction units which are arranged on the inhaul cable of a cable-stayed bridge and vibrate synchronously with the inhaul cable, and static friction units fixedly arranged relative to a bridge body of the cable-stayed bridge. The kinetic friction units are in sliding friction fit with the static friction units in the plane perpendicular to the axis of the inhaul cable in any directions. The kinetic friction units arranged on the inhaul cable can be in sliding friction fit with the static friction units arranged on the bridge body in any directions; when the inhaul cable vibrates, relative friction is produced between the kinetic friction units and the static friction units so the vibration of the inhaul cable in any radial line direction can be buffered and absorbed; full freedom degree damping is provided for the inhaul cable; the vibration resistant property of the inhaul cable is greatly improved.
