The invention discloses a light pollution preventing well cover, which comprises a well cover main body, wherein the well cover main body is arranged as a cavity structure; a sealed chamber is arranged inside the cavity structure of the well cover main body; the sealed chamber is filled with ozone gas; a protective plate is arranged on the top end face of the well cover main body; the protective plate is designed as a folded structure; and black cloth layers are stuck on the inner surface and on a corner surface of the outer side of the protective plate. The well cover disclosed by the invention can be used for avoiding light pollution to domestic drinking water and for improving the quality of the drinking water.
