The invention discloses an outdoor glass curtain wall system of a building and particularly discloses a connecting piece for glass splicing. The connecting piece for glass splicing comprises an inner side plate and an outer side plate, wherein the inner side plate is fixedly provided with gap bulges consistent with glass gap bulges in shape; a group of connecting holes including locating holes and mounting holes is formed in the gap bulges; each gap bulge is at least provided with two clamping strips fixedly arranged at the mounting holes through screws; the distance from each of the clamping strips to the inner side plate is consistent with the thickness value of single-layer glass; the outer side plate is fixedly arranged at the locating holes through screws; and the clamping strips are clamped between the inner side plate and the outer side plate. The technical defects of mounting inconvenience and relatively high cost existing in the prior art are overcome, and the connecting piece for glass splicing, which is simple and convenient to mount and relatively low in material consumption, is provided.
