The invention relates to an energy-consuming wood joist employing a compound web plate. The web plate mainly comprises wooden vertical supports, reinforced energy-consuming steel rings, reinforced wooden inclined supports and the like, wherein the wooden vertical supports and the reinforced energy-consuming steel rings are alternately distributed; one end of each reinforced wooden inclined support is connected with the end part of each wooden vertical support; the other end of each reinforced wooden inclined support is connected with each wooden vertical support by a bolt; and four reinforced wooden inclined supports at two sides of each reinforced energy-consuming steel ring are symmetrical about the horizontal diameter, the vertical diameter and the circle center of the reinforced energy-consuming steel ring, and are X-shaped as a whole. The energy-consuming wood joist has the effects and advantages that the energy-consuming wood joist is high in carrying capacity, convenient to construct, good in economical effect, good in integrality, explicit in force transmission, simple in construction, safe, reliable and light in weight; the construction cost is greatly reduced; materials are saved; the energy-consuming wood joist can support relatively high load in a large span, and does not bend or sink; the problems caused by shrinkage, warping, bending, distortion and cracking can be reduced; and the caused uneven floor is avoided.
