The invention discloses a linkage system based on a sliding door and window. The sliding door and window is formed through the connection of a board-like movable object and a board-like linkage object. The linkage system comprises a connecting board presenting an S-shaped structure, a slide groove assembly, a slide rail assembly and a positioner, wherein the slide rail assembly comprises a first slide rail and a second slide rail, and the first slide rail and the second slide rail are respectively arranged at two ends of the connecting board; the slide groove assembly comprises a first slide groove and a second slide groove; the first slide groove is formed in the board-like movable object, and the second slide groove is formed in the board-like linkage object; the first slide groove and the second slide groove face to the same direction; the first slide groove formed in the board-like movable object is correspondingly connected with the first slide rail; the second slide groove formed in the board-like linkage object is correspondingly connected with the second slide rail; the positioner is a fixed piece in a square block shape, and is fixedly mounted in the second slide groove in the linkage object or the first slide groove in the movable object. The linkage system disclosed by the invention can realize the phenomenon that the overlapped area of a door leaf is the smallest when the sliding door and window is opened, namely the sliding door and window is completely opened, so that the maximum area division space of the door leaf is sufficiently utilized.
