The invention relates to the field of construction materials, in particular to a tile adhesive. The tile adhesive is characterized by being prepared from the components in percentage by weight: 30.00 to 60.00 percent of Portland cement; 40.00 to 70.00 percent of quartz sand; 0.50 to 3.00 percent of dispersible adhesive powder; 0.10 to 0.60 percent of HPMC (hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose), 0.01 to 1.00 percent of CMS (carboxymethyl starch); 0.50 to 1.00 percent of defoamer; the invention provides the tile adhesive which can enhance adhesive force, improve spreadability and prolong operable time, and can be applied to tiles, face bricks and floor tiles of different types and materials, so that no hollowing of large ceramic tiles is guaranteed.
