The invention discloses a praseodymium zirconium yellow ceramic pigment which comprises the following components by weight percent: 1.5-3% of praseodymium oxide, 30-42% of zirconium oxide, 54-62% of silica aerogel, and 2-6% of a mineralizer, wherein the BET specific area of the silica aerogel is 300-650 m<2>/g, the average particle size of the silica aerogel is 5-20 [mu]m, and the pore volume of the silica aerogel is 1.5-3.5. Through the adoption of the formula of the praseodymium zirconium yellow ceramic pigment, the use amount of praseodymium oxide and zirconium oxide can be reduced, the pigment cost is reduced, and the color generation capability of the fired pigment is strong in a transparent glaze.
