The invention discloses a safety door block for children. The safety door block comprises an upper layer and a groove, a lower layer is arranged at the lower surface of the upper layer, connection columns and support columns are arranged between the upper layer and the lower layer, and the diameter of the groove is less than the width of a door. The safety door block has two layers. In an instant of door closing, a large impact force is produced and the two-layer door block can well buffer the impact force so that the door block does not fall off, the door is protected and it is avoided that the hand of a child is clamped in an instant of door closing or a baby is counter locked in a room.
