The invention discloses a linkage mechanism for adjacent door leaves of a folding door, which comprises a door post, active door leaves installed on the door post and folding door leaves connected with the active door leaves. The linkage mechanism is characterized in that a gear is fixed on the folding door leaves, a rack capable of moving back and forth is arranged on the active door leaves, the rack is in transmission connection with the gear, a pull rod is also connected on the rack, the other end of the pull rod faces the door post, and when the active door leaves rotate, the pull rod drives the rack to move back and forth. According to the invention, the pull rod and the gear are utilized for realizing linkage of adjacent door leaves, and the linkage mechanism has no need of arranging parts, such as left and right umbrella-shaped teeth and rotating rods, like the traditional technology, so that the linkage mechanism is simple in structure and convenient in installation. Meanwhile, by adjusting the transmission ratio of the gear to the rack, the adjustment of a specific folding angle can be realized, so that the practicability is strong.
