The invention provides a rope-free shutter which comprises a fixing base, a hanging base, a shutter unit and a rolling-up device. The shutter unit comprises a scroll rotatably erected between the fixing base and the hanging base. The hanging base comprises a first hanging wall with a first abutting face. The rolling up device comprises a shell seat unit and a rolling-up unit which is arranged on the shell seat unit and makes the scroll have the rolling up acting force. The shell seat unit is provided with a first shell abutting face and a second shell abutting face, wherein the first shell abutting face abuts against the abutting face of the hanging base when the hanging base is located at a lateral hanging position, and the second shell abutting face abuts against the abutting face of the hanging base when the hanging base is located at a drooping position. Through math of the mentioned structure, the rolling device is made to keep upright when the mounting direction of the shutter is changed, so that the protruding length of the shutter after mounting is reduced.
