The ladder comprises a base, a battery, a control chip, an electromagnetic valve, a control panel, a lamp holder body, hydraulic cylinders I, lamp fixing frames, illumination lamps, a hydraulic cylinder II and a ladder body, wherein the ladder is provided with the illumination lamps and can realize illumination without an external light source, and the illumination range can be automatically adjusted according to the needs of a user. The battery, the control chip and the electromagnetic valve are all arranged in the base, and the control panel is arranged on the base. The lamp holder body is mounted on the base, the lamp fixing frames are movably connected with the lamp holder body, the multiple illumination lamps are uniformly distributed on the lamp fixing frames, one end of each hydraulic cylinder I is connected with the lamp holder body, and the other end of each hydraulic cylinder is connected with the corresponding lamp fixing frame. The ladder body is movably connected with the base, one end of the hydraulic cylinder II is connected with the base, and the other end of the hydraulic cylinder II is connected with the ladder body.
