The invention provides a starch-based cement hydration heat control material. Mixed dicarboxylic anhydride and enzymatic starch are uniformly mixed and are put into a microwave reactor for carrying out solid-phase reaction, so that the starch-based cement hydration heat control material is obtained. The preparation method of the starch-based cement hydration heat control material is simple in technology, the reaction time is greatly shortened, the reaction efficiency is improved, usage of a solvent is avoided, and harm of waste to the environment is reduced; the prepared hydration heat control material can be used for effectively reducing the heat release rate in a hydration acceleration period and a hydration deceleration period, the peak value of hydration heat release rate is reduced by not less than 80%, and the strength of cement in the middle and later periods is almost not influenced.
