The invention discloses an outdoor ceramic water permeable brick which comprises a backing material and a surface layer, wherein the backing material comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 90-95wt% of ceramic waste particles which are crushed to be greater than 0 mesh but smaller than 200 meshes and 5-10wt% of a binder which is bentonite; and the surface layer comprises colored ceramic waste particles which are crushed to be greater than 0 mesh but smaller than 200 meshes and the binder, or a mixture of pigments, ceramic waste particles which are crushed to be greater than 0 mesh but smaller than 200 meshes and the binder; weight of the surface layer accounts for 20% of the weight of the backing material; and the pigments are common ceramic industrial raw materials.
