The invention discloses composite mortar for an aerated brick. The composite mortar is prepared from, by weight, 58% of quartz sand, 8% of fly ash, 4% of magnesium lime, 2% of kaolin, 3% of bentonite, 2.5% of xonotlite, 9% of cement, 9% of pottery sand, 2.5% of redispersible latex powder, 1% of water reducing agents and 1% of additives. According to the composite mortar for the aerated brick, the production technology is simple, the cost is low, the prepared mortar is good in strength, low in heat conductivity coefficient, very good in anti-crack effect, economical in energy, environment-friendly and capable of meeting the requirements of constructional engineering and environmental protection; by adding the kaolin modified through a technology, the properties of the mortar are improved, and the durability of the mortar and the impact resistance of the prepared aerated brick are improved; by adding the calcined magnesium lime and xonotlite power, the impervious performance of the mortar is further improved, and the cracking rate of the prepared aerated brick is greatly reduced.
