The invention discloses a gear-type translation power transmission mechanism of a stereo garage. The mechanism comprises a driving conveyer and a driven conveyer corresponding to the driving conveyer. Each of the driving conveyer and the driven conveyer comprises a frame and two conveying mechanisms disposed on two sides of the frame. The frame of the driving conveyer is provided with a power transmission device and an engaging-disengaging mechanism connected with the power transmission device. The conveying mechanisms of the driving conveyer are driven by the power transmission device to move in sync. The frame of the driven conveyer is provided with a driven transmission mechanism. The conveying mechanisms of the driven conveyer are driven by the driven transmission mechanism to move in sync. Synchronous transmission and disengaging of the driving conveyer and driven conveyer are achieved through the engaging and disengaging of the engaging-disengaging mechanism with the driven transmission mechanism of the driven conveyer. Power is transmitted directly from a lifting translation device to the conveyers at a parking space, and the gear-type translation power transmission mechanism has the advantages of low cost, simple structure, running reliability and the like.
