The invention discloses an electric sliding window. The electric sliding window comprises a sash and a rectangular frame, wherein an inner chamber is formed in a transverse component at the lower part of the frame; two side plates are arranged at the inner side of the transverse component; the sash is positioned in a groove formed between the two side plates; a guide rail is arranged between the two side plates; a guide rail groove which is matched with the guide rail is formed in the bottom part of the sash. According to the electric sliding window, the sliding window can be locked in a usage state, namely, an electric state or a manual state, through a positioning rod and a positioning groove in a matching manner. When the sliding window is in the electric state, a worm is engaged with a worm gear, and a gear is engaged with a rack, so that the window is driven to accurately open and close. When in the manual state, the sliding window can be manually opened and closed by a user. The electric sliding window can be simply and quickly switched between the electric state and the manual state. The electric sliding window has the advantages of being simple and compact in structure, low in manufacturing cost, and simple and convenient to use.
