The invention discloses a connecting element, a window frame structure and an installing method of the window frame structure. A shaft sleeve is of a circular cylindrical structure with an opening at one end; the bottom end inside the shaft sleeve is provided with a spring; the upper part of the spring is connected with an inner shaft; the upper part of the shaft sleeve is provided with opposite through holes; a through hole is formed in a corresponding position of the inner shaft; the inner shaft is arranged in the through hole of the shaft sleeve through a positioning pin in a penetrating and inserting way; and the inner shaft is fixed inside the shaft sleeve and the top of the inner shaft is flush with one end surface of the opening of the shaft sleeve. During the installation, the positioning pin is pulled out; and the inner shaft pops up, is inserted into a reserving groove or a hole of an outer frame and rotates for 90 degrees, so that the inner shaft and the reserving groove or the hole are tightly clamped. The stress received by a door and window due to the wind load influence can be avoided, and the deformation generated by deflection of the outer frame per se can also be avoided; after the connecting element and an installing method of the connecting element are used, the connecting element can be used a common connecting element to be applied to aluminum alloy, plastic steel, glass fiber reinforced plastic or aluminum wood door and windows and the like; and the standardization and the systematization of the installation and the standardization and the systematization of the connecting element are really realized.
