Composite ceramic coating for surface of SiC fiber and preparation method thereof
The invention provides a composite ceramic coating for the surface of SiC fibers and a preparation method thereof. The composite ceramic coating includes aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide and chromium oxide. The preparation method includes the following steps: mixing aluminum oxide powder, zirconium oxide powder and chromium oxide powder according to certain ratio, adding the mixed powders into alcohol and performing wet-method ball milling in a planetary ball miller, and drying and sieving the mixed powders to obtain mixed fine powder, ultrasound-cleaning high-temperature-treated SiC fibers in acetone, drying the SiC fibers at room temperature, spraying the mixed fine powder onto a SiC fiber base body material through plasma spraying technology or supersonic flame spraying technology, and finally producing the composite ceramic coating on the surface of the SiC fibers. The composite ceramic coating not only has excellent high-temperature anti-oxidizing performance but also is changeable in heat-expansion coefficient by means of change on component ratio of the raw materials, thereby improving thermo-physic matching performance between the coating and the SiC fiber base body.
